Cake @ the Troxy - March 2011...

The troxy was the perfect venue for this concert. It's a theater that seems old and kitsch! In any other room in London they would have looked out of place. There, with the disco ball... it was just right!

The troxy was quite full and when they opened with "Sad songs and waltzes" everyone sang in tune to give them a warm welcome back to tour life kind of greeting. 

From there onwards it was always better and better! They gave us a mix of old and new pleasing everyone. The big hits made an appearance as well, and so there I was singing along I will survive, Short Skirt and Long Jacket, & Never There to finish up the perfect alignment which kick started the holidays!  

[Even a cherry tree was given to the audience (literally... he literally gave away a cherry tree!)]
